Jeremy will be demonstrating the functions of an Artec Space Spider 3D scanner optimized for obtaining highly-detailed scans of small objects. Sample objects will be on display along with their 3D-printed replicas. Attendees are encouraged to stop by, explore and try their own hand at scanning!

Originally from Massachusetts, Jeremy received his BA in Anthropology from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, then came to Boston for his Master’s in Library Science from Simmons College. He has worked for the Harvard History Department, the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies, and the Harvard Map Collection. He currently works for FAS Academic Technology as an Instructional Technologist.
